By using body painting on a live model Immaculate Dissection was developed to help enhance the practitioners understanding of functional anatomy through visualisation and through feel; particularly as it applies to clinical application with palpation and discussions of “clinical pearls”. Corrective exercises focusing on the anatomy are then described in detail, demonstrated, and perfected.
The ID seminars have given Marianne a more in-depth approach to anatomy and diagnostic testing.
Seminars Attended:
ID I Core Concepts: Discussion of intrinsic and extrinsic core musculature and biomechanics, as they pertain to breathing and movement.
ID II Lower Extremity: Discussion of lower extremity musculature and biomechanics, as they pertain to rehabilitation, injury prevention and movement.
ID IV Neck Jaw Hand & Foot: Discussion of Neck, Jaw, intrinsic Hand and Foot musculature and biomechanics, as they pertain to rehabilitation, grip strength, injury prevention and movement.
